On Saturday August 23, 2014 I took a photo walk along Franklin Ave. between Cedar and the Mississippi River with Mark Schaffer and John Bain. I met these fine photographers through Capture Minnesota. Mark and I have been in contact for a couple of years. I got to know John a few weeks before the shoot. Our goal was to find examples of "Urban Minimalism". As you can see from the selections posted, I was not totally successful fulfilling this goal. I made a few photographs in this style, but I could not resist a couple of flowers and some greenery. The whimsical Kimber Gallery always grabs my attention.
