On Sunday October 6, 2013 I had the pleasure of joining René Rosengren and her dog Gatsby on one of their regular walks along the trails near the Mississippi River. It was a cool and misty day, but the side benefits were even light and saturated color. René is an excellent photographer and has posted many of her splendid images from these walks on Capture Minnesota. Check them out at www.captureminnesota.com/users/rvrosengren. My apologies to Gatsby for slowing his normal pace while I stopped several times to make a photograph. My thanks to René for sharing and showing me a beautiful and favorite area of hers between the the Short Line Railroad Bridge & the Lake St. Bridge.
